About me

About Kate

I arrived in New Zealand from the UK in 1988 and settled in Wellington.

While working at Wellington Rape Crisis and Lower Hutt Child and Family service I completed my Masters in Applied Psychology at Victoria University. In the early nineties I embarked on a solo career in private practice as a clinical psychologist.

While taking on a wide range of clients my work has slowly evolved into a more spiritually based practice. With a grounding in Buddhist practice and having completed an extensive thirteen year training as a Diamond Approach Teacher I am excited to be the first NZ based teacher of this path to a more fulfilled life.

I now live in the beautiful Marlborough Sounds with my husband and three white Swiss shepherd dogs.

I’ve always been a keen gardener and using the principles of permaculture we have established a food forest on our property as well as restoring the native forest ecosystem under the protection of a QEII covenant.
